Every year thousands of tourists follow the Wine Route of Ontario through the countryside either on their own or through guided Niagara wine tours. The Niagara Wine Route is an hour’s drive from Toronto and just a little drive from Niagara Falls. Just off the main highway, the trail begins and meanders along for 25 miles along rural roads, gently rolling through small towns, vineyards, and orchards. The Niagara Falls Vineyard trails are reputed to be one of the most preferred cycling destinations in Ontario Canada. This traditional route runs alongside the Niagara River and the Welland Canal and also traverses Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Most people choose to take this route, starting their journey from the Town of Niagara on the Lake Canada, a pretty and historic town.

• Check out the distance you can manage in a day.
• Follow the road rules while riding your bicycle.
• Do not rush through stop signs.
